The annual pilgrimage to the top of San Miguel went ahead on Sunday despite the inclement weather and walkers were able to enjoy the perfume of rosemary, thyme and pine trees whihc hung in the damp autumn air.
Well worth the effort was how the group described the climb to enjoy one of the best views of Calasparra and the surrounding countryside.
