To mark the International Day of the Environment the Tourist Office is organizing a special walk through different landscapes with diverse flowers and animals, inside the protected ZEPA area.
The walk, on June 4, will pass through some of the most picturesque in Calasparra including the sierra del Molino, Embalse del Quípar and Llanos de Cagitán, following the Quípar river, through cornfields to the Argos river valley before taking the shepherd´s path (vía pecuaria) back to Calasparra town.
It is approximately 11.5k and is rated medium to easy.
