The United Left Party are to hold a meeting for the residents of the Tierra del Sol in the Alandalus Bar on Saturday July 6 at 11.30am.
Further public meetings are planned in the future but this first reunión will be an opportunity for the residents of the urbanisation, English and Spanish, to raise issues and problems with representatives of the opposition United Left which currently holds the casting vote on the Town Hall Council.
Coordinator and elected member, Ricardo Garcia, says the meetings form part of the Party´s policy of transparent and inclusive local government with local people participating fully in decision making.
There will be an interpreter available at the meeting, however, residents are invited to send questions to nexo_calasparra@yahoo.es so they can be translated and forwarded to Ricardo before the meeting,
Although there will be plenty of time questions at the meeting, which should run for a couple of hours, if questions are submitted in advance it will allow time for the Party members to research their answers.
