UK TEENAGER HURT IN FIRST BULL RUN

A British teenager had to have stitches on his cheekbone after a close encounter with a bull during the first of the September fiesta bull runs in Calasparra, today, Monday.
There were three injuries during today´s run but none were grave. The most serious was the UK youngster who was treated at the local Health Centre.
He fell in the path of the bulls on the bend just before  the bull ring, and according to Radio Calasparra, “did the worse thing he could have done. He tried to get up.” He got to his feet just as the bulls were approaching and was knocked over by the leader of the pack. His condition was described as “not serious.”
The other two injuries were described as “just bruises.”
The bulls took two minutes and 20 seconds to run from the bottom of Calle Mayor to the bull ring.
