The Manager of the Medical Centre in Calasparra has appealed to residents to act with the practice maximum prudence and responsibility and to stay at home, only going out when absolutely necessary.
The appeal follows two patients being admitted to hospital with the virus yesterday at 2pm and 18 new cases diagnosed in Calasparra in the last 24 hours.
The Manager of the Centre, Inma Martinez, and the Head of Nursing, Rafael Guirao, have underlined the importance of observing a strict quarantine when required and to be “sincere and honest about possible contacts and symptoms.”
«A minor symptom compatible with Covid, such as a cough, mucus or a temperature, and you should get in touch with the Medical Centre immediately, we are in a critical situation and saving lives is in our hands. We should self isolate,” they warned.
Referring to the second vaccination for Covid they announced it would be administered to residents and workers at the OAPs Residence in Calasparra next week.
