On Christmas Eve the local police arrested two people for alleged drugs trafficking and closed down a point of sale in Calasparra.
The joint investigation of the local police and the Guardia Civil began with a «watch and follow» operation during several days when officers observed people coming and going from a local dwelling and concluded it was probably a point of sale for drugs.
The dwelling was raided by the officers and two people were arrested after various grammes of cocaine was found along with apparatus for selling drugs and cash.
The two suspects have appeared before magistrates.
