Calasparra Town Hall reports that one of the best moments of Christmas in Calasparra is the launching of the Chinese lanterns on Christmas Eve.
Each lantern is launched with a wish and each lantern raises a euro for the local charity, Cat Friendly, which protects, feeds and fights for the rights of cat colonies.
This event along with Santa´s visit, the Association Band of Music, the Tree of Wishes, the photocall 360 degrees and children´s workshops brought hundreds of people into the street to celebrate Christmas in Calasparra.
The Civil Protection officers, Municpal Services and the local police were on hand to keep us all safe!!
