The natural beauty of the countryside around Calasparra, including Cañaverosa and the Cañon de Almadenes, has inspired the V Travelling Exhibition of Landscape Painting by the students of Fine Art at the University of Murcia.
A presentation of the exhibition on July 26 was attended by María Dolores Gomariz, Head of Tourism; Cristina Trujillo, Head of Culture; Head of the Cajamurcia Foundation Pascual Martínez; Director General of the Environment, Amador López; Deputy Rector of the University, Mercedes Farias, and the director of the project, professor and artist, Victoria Chezner.
The exhibition will come to Calasparra on August 24 after travelling around Murcia, Cieza, Caravaca and Lorca.
