Calasparra will celebrate a genuinely traditional weekend next week with the Agricultural Prize Ceremony; a new etnological exhibition and a folklore festival.
The Galardón Agrícola (local annual agricultural prize) in the gift of the Brotherhood of the local patrón saints, will be presented on May 22.
The exhibition, “Our Roots, our Culture” will open on October 22 in Calle Mayor.
The II Folklore Festival will be on Sunday, October 23 and will include performances by the groups: Animeros del Sabinar, Campo de San Juan and Calar de la Santa, Alegría from Valle de Ricote and la Rondalla of Calasparra, who will act as hosts.
