The combination of a week´s rest and the unfailing Calasparra sunshine is enough to revive anyone´s spirits and vegetable garden is flourishing once again.
This time we can offer the first of the Swedes, more Brussels sprouts and Brussels tops to give you a taste of home. They are in limited supply so if you fancy traditional English vegetables come early to avoid disappointment.
We will also have a limited supply of tomatoes, thanks to the lovely spring weather plus broccoli, spinach, cabbage and broad beans.
There will also be pungent, crisp celery and strong white leeks and if you fancy a change we have crunchy Jerusalem artichokes.
In the garden we have carrots, purple sprouting, curly kale, Savoy cabbage and more Swedes which will soon be ready to pick and more cauliflowers are coming on nicely.
The stall has normally sold out by middy on Friday so customers are reminded to drop by early to pick the best of the crop!
