More than 6,000 records, 2,000 files, 5,000 documents with electronic signatures and 30,000 cases processed, demonstrate “the transparency, efficiency and proximity” of the new electronic office.
The virtual office was officially presented by the Mayor of Calasparra, Jose Vélez, this week.
Alejandro Navarret, Head of the electronic administration project, and representing the company, EsPublico, explained all the details, functions and benefits of the new websites, both for workers as well as residents.
The new format permits users to manage an ample catalogue of documents: taxes, licences, public works, employment, authorizations and even the “padrón.”
Ricardo García, responsable for Citizen Participation demonstrated the Transparency Portal where information of public interest, such as urban affairs, grants, contracts, norms and public enquiries, will be available.
This will be a “an open window for the population to participate in the workings of local government,” he said.
The portal can be accessed through the municipal webpage, www.calasparra.org.
