As is traditional, there will be a pilgrimage, with the statue of Our Lady of Hope, from Calasparra to the Sanctuary on Sunday to conclude the May celebrations.
The statue of Our Lady of Hope was brought down from the Sanctuary in a pilgrimage at the beginning of May .
The return pilgrimage will be on Sunday June 5 following a mass at 7am in St Peter´s Church.
When the pilgrimage reaches the viewing point over the Segura Valley there will be a prayer for the rice harverst and a blessing for the paddy fields.
A bus shuttle service back to Calasparra will be laid on after the pilgrimage.
