As to stand at the bar of the pub with no beer.
Immortal words from the Dubliners recording a traditional song which will have rung true to many fiesta goers in Calasparra yesterday as more than a few pubs and restaurants ran out of the amber nectar.
There were literally thousands of visitors yesterday who decided to stay on and party in Calasparra after Saturday´s bull run and, apparently, there wasn´t enough space in the cold rooms and cellars of the town to stock sufficient beer and the supplies ran dry.
What will happen today, Sunday?? Will emergency supplies be rushed in??
As we said: There is nothing so lonely, so drab and so drear…………….
