The Day of the Patron Saints of Calasparra began at dawn with the traditional wake up call «Diana» with the Association Band of Music and the Charanga of Calasparra (band) taking to the streets of the town and the «paloma» (anis based drink) designed to raise the spirits of those who have been partying all night.
The route of the «Diana» is spontaneous led by young and not so young peñas and residents keen to take part in this light hearted parade and so respect one of the oledst traditions of the town.
