Over 60 people came along to the Alandalus on Valle del Sol last Saturday, the August 6 to support the MABS Cancer Charity in raising funds for the organization.
Raffle prizes that were donated on the night, included a homegrown melon, numerous bottles of wine and spirits, plastic banana storers, a furry hippo, two Pan Pipe CD’s, water balloons and a basket which attaches to your head to catch Ping Pong Balls in !
Along with two generous prizes for the Auction: a three litre bottle of whiskey, which Alfonso bought before the Auction took place, and a Haversack Picnic Set finished off the break before resuming the Music Party Night.
The children seemed to enjoy their time on the dance floor with Baby Shark and Gangnam Style being a couple of favourites which Mums and Grandmas seemed to enjoy also !
It was a shame it had to end as people still wanted to carry on after the midnight deadline but the music eventually finished off around 15 minutes later.
With ticket sales, sale of raffle tickets and money from the auction 660 euros was raised on the night. A fantastic amount so thank you to everyone who came along and supported the evening.

MABS Calasparra have a stall at the weekly market every two weeks during Autumn, Winter and Spring and are always on the lookout for donated items to raise local funds.
