Last Saturday night, August 5, at the Alandalus, MABS held their Summer Party with over 55 attending and with ticket sales and raffle prizes a total of 770 euros was raised for the cancer support charity, MABS.
Included in that amount were two auctions, which consisted of a Mystery Envelope and an enormous Basket Hamper put together by Michelle and friends and full of food, drink, fruit and other «goodies».
The Hamper alone raised 100 euros !
Once settled down after the raffle etc, a few folks began to appear on the dance floor which turned into quite a few when tracks like Sweet Caroline and Saturday Night At The Movies came on. Soon after midnight a few slow tracks came on to ease the pace down with the final track of Time To Say Goodbye ending the night.
On behalf of MABS, thank you to everyone who attended, contributed and took to the dance floor to make the Final Party of the year a memorable one.
