The Met Office has confirmed the yellow weather warning for severe weather conditions remains in force for our area and many other areas in Spain.
The areas affected locally are the Altiplano, Noroeste (which includes Calasparra), Vega del Segura, Guadalentín, Lorca and Águilas.
The region remains on alert today, Monday, for rain, storm and hail with trees likely to fall and activities suspended in areas including Calasparra.
