There were 17 new cases of Covid-19 diagnosed in Calasparra in the last 24 hours increasing the total number of active cases to 90.
Yesterday only six new diagnosis were reported and the total number of active cases was 76.
This increase in contagions in Calasparra bucks the regional trend as new cases diagnosed in the region in the past 24 hours fell to 896, the lowest for three days.
However, sadly the death toll regionally continues to rise with another unhappy record 22 deaths in the past 24 hours and a regional total of more than 1,000 deaths.
