Seven local volunteers are currently training in Lorca as contact tracers for Covid-19.
Calasparra Town Hall has enrolled them on a weekend course: Basic Course of Tracing and Following Up People Affected by Covid.
These volunteers will be able to take part in contact tracing, should it prove necessary, on behalf of the regional Health Service and the General Health Area IV.
They are being trained in tracing techniques, operational strategies, the generation of alerts and management of clusters.
«The collaboration between administrations is fundamental in the fight against this epidemic,” says Antonio Merino, Head of the local Department of citizen Security.
