If you want to spread some Christmas cheer in the local community you can donate nonperishable food to Caritas.
Caritas have a food bank and distributes the donations to local families who are unable to support themselves.
Donations can be left at the foot of the altar in the Merced Church in the centre of Calasparra.
The church is open from December 14 to 18 between 7.30 and 9am; 10.30am and 1.30pm: and 5 to 8pm. From December 19 to 22 the church is open from 6 to 8pm.
You can also donate toys or games for local children at Calasparra Town Hall. Full details earlier on this webpage.
