SCAM WARNING: FAKE POLICE AND INTERPOL

Some residents have received an email claiming to be from the Policía Nacional and Interpol, accusing them of serious crimes. It demands a reply within 72 hours, and threatens that otherwise they’ll issue an arrest warrant, send your details to the media and child-protection groups so your family find out, and put you on a sex offenders register across Europe.
ItT IS A SCAM.
The sender address isn’t from the police, the laws it quotes don’t exist, and it’s full of mistranslated French. Real police do not accuse people of crimes by email.
If you get one: don’t reply, don’t click anything, don’t pay. Mark it as spam and report it to the Policía Nacional.
These emails are sent to thousands of people at random, so please share so nobody gets frightened into paying.
