Monday night´s torrential rain has brought fresh drama to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Hope as the lower terraces and barbecue area has flooded again.
The rain has swollen the river to the level reached in 2013 when the terraces flooded causing considerable material damage and bringing down trees growing on the river banks.
As yet there is no information on the damage caused.
