The driver of a saloon car died this morning, Tuesday, on the RM/-14 Venta el Olivo/Calasparra road after his vehicle collided with a lorry transporting livestock.
The accident happened at 1.55pm.
A 31 year old was trapped in his vehicle and had to be freed by the fire brigade. However, he died at the scene of the accident.
The road was temporarily blocked by the two vehicles following the accident.
The driver of the lorry, aged 22, was slightly injured.
Another lorry had to be called to the scene in order to transport the lambs to their destination.
