The Plaza de la Corredera was packed a few minutes before midday today in anticipation of the launching of the “chupinazo” (rocket) which signals the official start of the fiestas.
The chupinazo was set off by the youth group, “We don´t have a club,” who beat all the other local groups competing for this honour.
The traditional chupinazo was launched from the balcony of the Town Hall today, Tuesday, at midday.
