Due to the recent rains the River Moratalla is flowing again after many years without water.
The recent rains and snowfall in the mountains is responsible for this wonderful image at the weekend.
The source of the River Segura has also benefitted from the rains after being completely dried up for three months.
However, it is not all good news as the region´s reservoirs stand at a mere 16% of their capacity.
