The statue of Our Lady of Hope was returned to the Sanctuary last Sunday after a month’s stay in the town.
Hundreds of local people took part in the pilgrimage from Calasparra over the mountains to the Sanctuary in the early hours of Sunday morning following a mass.
The new President of the Sanctuary Foundation Management Committee, Antonio José Egea, told Radio Calasparra he was very satisfied with all of the events during the last month and was grateful for the support of local people for the Patron of the town.
