RESTRICTIONS FOR THE CHRISTMAS PERIOD

Movement between regions and municipal areas will be limited between December 23 and January 6 to those travelling home or travelling to be with family or friends.
Events such as New Year celebrations “the bells” and the Three Magic Kings are not recommended. Crowds should be avoided.
Curfew on December 24 and 31 will begin at 1.30am.
If you are returning home for the Christmas holidays you should take extreme precautions 10 days before travelling and limit your social interactions. When you arrive at your destinations keep social contacts to a minimum and social meetings should be outside.
Large sporting events are prohibited.
Shop in advance and use local shops to avoid crowds and minimize movement.
People who normally live in care homes but are moving in with their families over the festive season must limit social contact and stay at a single address. A Covid-19 test is recommended before returning to the care home.
Frequency of public transport should be increased to avoid crowds, guarantee correct ventilation and to comply with precautionary measures.
