Historically, during the Covid-19 pandemic, the rate of contagion increases by 40% after fiesta weekends in Spain.
The authorities are bracing themselves for another increase following the “Puente de la Constitución” this weekend.
However, for the moment numbers in the region continue to fall and in Calasparra there have been no new cases for the second day running. There are 27 current confirmed cases.
