The national State of Alarm, which facilitates the curfew and the closure of regional perimeters, officially comes to an end on May 9.
From that date the regional governments, and the courts, will be in charge of restrictions and measures to be taken to avoid the spread of Covid-19 in their areas.
A court in the Baleares Islands has already approved the continuation of the curfew and the closure of the regional perimeter but many regions have indicated they will open their regional boundaries and scrap the curfew from May 9.
Tomorrow the regional Department of Health in Murcia will decide how the end of the State of Alarm will affect the region.
In the meantime mass vaccinations of people aged 50 to 59 will take place over the weekend in public buildings in Murcia, Cartagena and Cieza.
If you fall within this age group you stay alert for a call or message with an appointment.
