Calasparra Town Hall and the recycling company, Ecovidrio, have joined forces in the “Recycling Hope” campaign to find projects or initiatives in the community which have improved the situation caused by Covid-19.
Anyone who has been involved in such a scheme can register the project on www.reciclaesperanza.es, where people can vote for their favourite initiative. The projects with the most votes will receive prizes of 1,500 euros (1st); 1,000 euros (2nd); and 500 euros (3rd).
Register the name and description of the project, any photo you have, the name of the municipal area and the name of the person responsible, before May 31.Then share it on your social network sites with the hastag #reciclaesperanza.
Voting begins on June 1 with all citizens able to vote until June 30.

In the past year, scarred by the Covid-19 pandemic, some 250 tons of glass was recycled in Calasparra, representing 24.7k per inhabitant.
