Over 25,000 spectators turned up for the final bull run of this year’s fiestas, according to figures released by the Town Hall.
By 9am there was no room for the smallest person to squeeze onto or behind the barriers for the clean, fast run of two minutes and 26 seconds.
At least five of the runners fell during the event, however fortunately, no-one was seriously hurt although several people were treated for cuts and bruises.
