Thanks to the rapid response of volunteers from the Civil Protection a small ditch fire was put out before it could spread.
The team from the local Civil Protection put out the fire in a ditch alongside a public road in Calasparra before the fire brigade arrived earlier today, Thursday.
The Murcia region remains on high alert for forest fires due to high temperatures.
