There have been 65 confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Calasparra since the beginning of the epidemic in early March and no new cases in the last two weeks.
There have been new cases confirmed in 17 municipal areas in the Murcia region including Cartagena and Murcia. Third highest on the contagion table is Molino de Segura with six new cases and nearby Moratalla with five new cases.
There are currently 20 patients with the virus hospitalized in the region but none are in intensive care. The average age of the in-patients is 63 years old.
Since the beginning of the epidemic there have been a total of 3,475 cases of the virus confirmed in the Murcia region.
