The Esperanza Primary School are appealing for support for their protest this morning, Wednesday, against school meal price rises by prívate contractors.
The Parent Teacher Association claims that local contractors offer school meals at an affordable 5€ as opposed to the 7.38 proposed by the current contractors: a price hike they claim will put meals out of reach for many families and endanger the future of the service.
Families of the pupìls and the Head of the Education Department, Maria Dolores Gomariz have declared their support for the protest.
