The price of a bottle of butane gas rises today, Tuesday, by 5% to 17.13 euros compared to previous 16.32 euros.
The increase will affect eight million homes which rely on the gas, according to the Ministry of Industry.
The new price will last until the next review on May 1 and is the maximum allowed by law.
