A local police raid in Calasparra has closed down a major heroin outlet and led to the arrest of a local man and woman, suspected of dealing in drugs..
Last Thursday afternoon local police brought an ongoing operation to a close when they identified a major sales outlet for heroin, allegedly run by a “clan” drug dealing family.
The police operation began back in June this year as part of the drug prevention campaign and the prosecution of local drug dealers.
During the raid police searched a vehicle, arrested a couple and took possession of a quantity of heroin sufficient for 80 doses and cash.
According to the Town Hall the suspects are a man and a woman, local to the area, with the initials S.M.M. Y A.F.M.
The couple appeared before magistrates in Caravaca.
