The Town Hall Is proposing that residents of Calasparra will be able to pay their Council Tax (IBI) in instalments over 12 months without any extra charges.
The local authority has made the application to the local tax collecting entity, the “ Agencia Tributaria,” and it will be effective for next year´s Council Tax.
The Mayor of Calasparra, José Vélez, at Thursday´s full meeting of the local authority, also proposed that a general revisión of the “catastral” (council tax) was carried out with a view to reducing the high values of some properties and also to include some properties that are currently excluded. The motion was passed unanimously.
Revisons of the IBI, “catastral”, are carried out every 10 years. The last revision was in 2006.
