Pupils of the Esperanza Primary School, who are taking part in the highly successful Editorial Esperanza, will sell books and pictures in the Plaza de la Corredera on May 19 with 15% of the profits going to the Red Cross.
Now in its second year the Esperanza Editorial gives sixth form pupils at the school the opporunity to publish their own books.
The project, which has become known as the “Esperanza Group” will publish, as a novelty this year, four pictures.
The Mayor of Calasparra officially received the group at the Town Hall last week and underlined the success of the project which has allowed the children to start their own business as well as develop their artistic talents.
