Starting tomorrow, all people aged 12 years and over must take a PCR or Lateral Flow (LFD) COVID-19 test before travelling to the UK from abroad.
This comes into effect from 4am, Tuesday 7 December.
The test must be taken in the two days before you depart for the UK. If your journey to UK takes in other destinations en route you must take the test in the two days before you embark.
This applies whether you qualify as fully vaccinated or not. Some people, including children aged 11 and under are exempt from taking the test.
