The Bar del Club de la Tercera Edad (OAPs Club) in Calasparra will re-open under new managemernt, Calasparra Town Hall has announced.
Alfonso Serrano Navarro, until recently Manager of the Alandalus Bar on the Tierra del Sol urbanisation, has been chosen as the new Manager of the cafeteria after a tendering process was carried out by the Town Hall last year.
After a period of refurbishment and improvements the bar will finally re-open this Friday with the habitual opening times. The improvements have included painting the building, renewing the furniture for the terrace and introducing a new menu.
The Mayoress, Teresa Garcia, and part of the local Government team with Antonio Guirao, President of the Club, officially welcomed Alfonso yesterday morning.
Alfonso´s departure from the Alandalus Bar leaves the Tierra del Sol without any bar or restaurant service on the urbanisation .
