Report submitted by a Volunteer at Dogs Rescue
It was our first coffee morning at a new venue, ‘Pizzería La Plaza’ in Calasparra. We were a little apprehensive about it all because it meant people had to travel further than previously but they didn’t let us down. We had approximately 80 people through the door and raised 800€ for the dog rescue. The money raised has been paid to the vet to reduce our monthly bill.

We also collect any small change/coins that people bring to our events. It’s amazing how much it adds up.
At the moment we are appealing for volunteers to help out at the rescue so if anyone has a couple of hours spare they could come and meet the dogs.
