The local police have issued a statement asking motorists to respect the no parking signs in central Calasparra during the fiestas.
In the Avenida Primero de Mayo (Gran Via) parking will be prohibited for its length to the Plaza de la Corredera on Friday from 4pm to accommodate the fiesta stalls. The prohibition will finish at 10pm on July 30.
Parking will be prohibited in the Saints Square from 10am on Friday to 3pm on July 30.
No parking will be allowed in Calle Los Santos or Calle San Abdon from 5pm on Friday to 3pm on July 30.
In Calle Madre Carmen del Niño Jesús, parking will be prohibited from 9am on Friday to 3pm on July 30.
The local police also ask residents to be courteous and to respect the mounting of stages, participation in the fiestas and the street cleaning at the end of events.
Furthermore, on Friday parking will be banned from the gates of the Bull Ring to Calle Rotas, until the end of the Grand Prix Taurino.
Finally, on Sunday July 30 parking will be prohibited in all of Calle Rotas and Calle Los Pinos from 10am.
The local police ask people to respect the traffic signals and parking restrictions and are grateful for this cooperation which will facilitate full enjoyment of the fiestas.
