Masks will stop being obligatory on public transport (train and buses) as well as opticians, hearing centres, and prosthesis clinics from today, February 7.
They remain obligatory in chemists, hospitals, medical centres and residential homes.
The Government has decided to keep these restrictions in place as a preventive measure in light of the respiratory viruses that circulate in winter, such as flu.
