The traditional red and green prescription forms will disappear soon from the GP´s constultation rooms to be replaced as part of the new system of co-payments for medications.
The new colour for service users with the right to medication under the National Health System will be dark blue and for those involved in work accidents of illnesses related to their profession will be light blue.
Before the new system the red forms were for pensioners who, until last July, did not have to pay for their medicines but, under the new system, now pay 40%.
The presciption forms for those with terminal illnesses and other groups who are entitled to pay less for their medicines will be marked “Campañan Sanitaria.”
