The new 200.000 euro local police headquarters in Avenida Juan Ramón Jiménez was officially opened by the Mayor of Calasparra, Jesus Navarro and the Head of Municipal and Citizen Security, José Vélez, yesterday morning.
The local police chief, Miguel Moret, and his 24 offices will benefit from 200 square metres of office space in the former Post Offices premises. Facilities include an office for the police chief and one for the police officers; a rest room; two toilets; a dressing room with washing facilities; and a waiting room for detainees on the first floor.
The new telephone numbers for the local police are 968 74 64 00 and 968 74 60 07. The mobile number remains the same: 696 44 22 00.
