There will be cameras and more local police action to identify people
who dump bags of rubbish and/or carton outside the designated containers in Calasparra.
The Mayor of Calasparra, Jose Velez, announced today a major campaign to clean
up the town.
From Monday the local police will be concentrating on areas where local laws
controlling rubbish and waste are regularly broken and vigilance cameras will
be set up near communal rubbish bins.
The Mayor has also warned that he will introduce a radar car to control traffic
breaking the speed limits in the town in an effort to avoid accidents and improve
pedestrian safety.
