Pupils from all the education centres in Calasparra congregated in the
Plaza de la Corredera today to demand nonviolence and peace.
The children joined others from all the world marking the Schools Day of Non
Violence and Peace, which falls today, Thursday January 30.
The date also coincides with the anniversary of the death of Mahatma Gandhi
(India 1869-1948) who defended peaceful resistance.
