The official webpage of the new international airport at Corvera has announced that the first aircraft will take off from its runways next Easter.
The announcement, on www.aimur.es, rectifies two previous announcements giving different dates: one this year and the other in 2013.
However, on a Murcian radio station, Antonio Sevilla, Head of the regional Department of Public Works clarified that the date for the airport opening would be set once negotiations with the airport authority, AENA, and the concessionary Aeromur, were finalized.
