The fiesta of the Patron Saints of Calaparra, «known as Los Santos» held at the end of July each year is the most traditional of all local fiestas and ends with a free music concert called the «Verbena».

Azúcar Moreno, consists of two sisters, Toñi y Encarna Salazar, and is one of the most emblematic names of Spanish music. With a career of more than four decades behind them they offer a fusion of pop, flamenco and latin rythms with hits such as «Bandido» «Devorarme otra vez» and «Solo se vive una vez».
The Verbena will be on July 29 at 11p m in the Placeta de los Santos and entry is free of charge.
