Hundreds of people turned out to welcome the pilgrimage from the Sanctuary on Sunday as the statue of Our Lady of Hope arrived for a month´s stay in Calasparra.
The Rondalla provided music and dance at the gate of the Caverina Football Ground and the Association Band of Music accompanied the procession to St Peter´s Church.
As is traditional, as the procession trod a carpet of rosemary and other sweet smelling herbs in Calle Socovos, petals rained down from the balconies.
